Try to stick to a consistent time each week, but we understand if you need to switch sessions.
In our upcoming Project Reset session, we will talk about something so many of us struggle with—body image. Even after losing weight, it can be tough when your mind still sees the “old you”. This experience, sometimes referred to as “Phantom Fat”, can make you feel stuck in a body you no longer have, which can be frustrating and disorienting. But here’s the key: your worth is so much more than how your body looks.
I look forward to introducing the concept of body neutrality to all of you this week. Remember that you don’t have to love your appearance every moment to appreciate your body and respect what it does for you. Take a look at THIS on body neutrality. It’s a reminder that:
You deserve respect, no matter what stage of your journey you’re in. Let’s continue to remind ourselves of these truths as we move forward.
Remember: Every BODY is beautiful and deserves to feel welcome in any gym or workout setting—no matter your appearance, size, fitness level, age, or ability. Starting a new movement routine can be intimidating, and I hear from clients all the time that they’re nervous about joining a gym or attending a class because they’re worried others will be watching. But guess what? You’re not alone, and you totally got this! Secret’s out – everyone is actually paying attention to themselves!
Here are a few ways to boost your confidence when starting a workout program:
It’s been 4 weeks since we set those SMART goals…let’s check in! Here’s a quick refresher on SMART goals.
Are you on track to meet the movement goals you set for yourself? If so, amazing job! Celebrate that progress and keep pushing forward!
If not, that’s okay too! Let’s take a closer look: What challenges have popped up? What adjustments can we make to get you back on track?
Whether you’re crushing your goals or looking to tweak them, this is a great time to reflect and plan for the next month. What do you want to achieve next?
I’m excited to see how far you’ve come and what’s ahead! Keep going, you’ve got this!
When it comes to achieving your health and body goals, hydration is sometimes overlooked, yet it plays a significant role in both how you look and feel. Proper hydration helps regulate body temperature, improves digestion, and keeps your skin looking clear and vibrant, which can boost your overall body confidence. On the flip side, dehydration can lead to bloating, dull skin, and fatigue, negatively impacting your physical appearance and how you feel about your body.
Hydration is essential for supporting the weight-loss journey as well! Staying hydrated helps control hunger, assists with metabolism, and supports your body as it sheds fat, ultimately shaping how you look.
We believe that the way you feel about your body starts with simple, sustainable habits like drinking enough daily- here are some fun drink recipes to try!. By staying hydrated, you’re not just supporting your body’s functions—you’re also enhancing your appearance and nurturing a positive body image.
Family plays a huge role in shaping how we see ourselves—sometimes in positive ways, but also in ways that can be deeply challenging. Think about those comments you might have heard growing up—maybe it was a well-intentioned remark about your size, or a joke that felt harmless at the time but stuck with you. Even when meant to motivate, those words can carry weight for years, influencing how we view our bodies.
It’s important to acknowledge that, whether those comments were made with love, frustration, or carelessness, they can leave lasting scars. But here’s the thing—you can reframe those experiences. Instead of letting them define how you feel about yourself now, start focusing on the positive messages you want to believe. The people around us might have shaped part of our body image, but we hold the power to change the narrative.
This isn’t about flipping a switch overnight. Like we talked about, it’s about taking small, meaningful steps. Maybe that means practicing self-compassion or celebrating a non-scale victory like how much stronger you feel. Perhaps it’s finding a way to rewrite those old stories that don’t serve you anymore.
You’ve already made such incredible progress. Keep going, step by step, and remember that true transformation starts with accepting yourself as you are today. You are already enough, and every bit of progress is something to be proud of. You’ve got this, and we’re all in this together! Keep showing up for yourself, because you deserve it.
