Dr. Dovec and Dr. Lane, along with our registered dietitian, Hannah Schuyler, RD, will work closely with you to meticulously assess your medical history and specific weight loss goals. BARIATRIC SURGICAL OPTIONS

Bariatric Surgical Options
  • Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (Gastric Sleeve/VSG) removes about 80% of the stomach to help you eat less and feel less hungry. Most patients lose about 60–70% of their extra weight.
  • Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass makes the stomach smaller and changes how food moves through the body. This helps you eat less, feel less hungry, and absorb fewer calories. Most patients lose about 80% of their extra weight.
  • Revisional Bariatric Surgery fixes or changes a past weight loss surgery. This may include changing a gastric sleeve to a gastric bypass for acid reflux (GERD) or weight regain, or removing a lap band and changing to a sleeve or bypass.
